Program Overview and Registration Guidelines
I. Purpose and Objectives
In response to global challenges such as food security, climate change, and labor shortages, many countries have begun promoting the development of smart agriculture in recent years to achieve the vision of agricultural sustainability. The Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) invites overseas compatriot entrepreneurs engaged in agriculture-related industries or agricultural technology services who are interested in understanding and implementing the latest applications and development trends of smart agriculture to return to Taiwan to participate in this program. Through the introduction of smart technology, the Internet of Things, and digital transformation into agriculture-related industries, the program aims to enhance agricultural production efficiency and industrial value, promote exchanges and cooperation in agricultural technology between overseas communities and Taiwan, and jointly strengthen the industrial competitiveness of Taiwan and overseas compatriot entrepreneurs.
II. Program Date and Agenda
A. September 7 (Monday) to September 11 (Friday), 2026. 5 days and 4 nights in total.
B. Tentative Agenda:
The 5-day 4-night Program includes professional courses, visits to outstanding enterprises, calls on R&D institutions or industry associations, and visiting the “2026 Taiwan Smart Agriweek.”(The agenda and program content are tentative. The final agenda shall be announced upon final approval. The OCAC reserves the right to adjust the agenda according to actual implementation.)
III. Eligibility for Registration and Program Capacity
A. Eligibility for Registration
Overseas compatriot entrepreneurs with Mandarin communicative skills who operate agriculture-related industries or agricultural technology service businesses in their overseas location of residence, are interested in implementing and promoting agricultural innovation and smart agriculture goals, and are able to assist related Taiwanese industries in expanding into overseas markets.
Applicants should either hold an “i-Compatriot Card”or agree to apply for it concurrently with this registration.
Priority will be given to employees of related overseas compatriot-operated businesses and those who have not participated in the OCAC's economic and trade workshops or visiting delegations (including invitation delegations or observation tours) in the past two years.
B. Program Capacity:
The program is limited to 30 participants. If fewer than 15 participants are approved, the program will not be held.
IV. Registration Date and Procedure:
A.Registration Period: From now until 24:00 on June 19, 2026 (Taiwan Time) . Late applications and waitlist requests will not be accepted.
B.Registration Procedure:
1.This workshop utilizes the “OCAC Overseas Compatriot Affairs Activity Registration System”. Please be sure to complete the registration process on the event webpage prior to the registration deadline. (https://register.ocac.gov.tw) The initial review of applications and recommendations will be conducted by OCAC’s overseas service centers, followed by a final review by OCAC. (If the applicant resides in a country or region without an OCAC overseas service center, OCAC will review the application directly.) The results will be announced via email in mid-July. The final list will also be sent to R.O.C. (Taiwan) embassies, consulates, or Culture Centers for notification.
The collection, processing, and use of participants' personal information will be handled in accordance with Article 8 of the Personal Data Protection Act. Please carefully read the information provided and check the consent box to proceed with the registration process.
2.I-Compatriot Card Users: Participants registering using their i-Compatriot Card account will automatically have certain personal details (including Chinese and English names, date of birth, gender, email address, i-Compatriot Card number, and information about residence abroad) imported to streamline the registration process. Cardholders not logging in with their i-Compatriot Card account must ensure accurate completion of the i-Compatriot Card number field. Those who have not yet obtained an i-Compatriot Card should check the consent box to apply for one, and the Council will issue the i-Compatriot Card based on the registration information.
3.Applicants must provide a valid and frequently-used email address to receive the registration result notification and online check-in instructions.
Ⅴ.Program fees:
A.Expenses Covered by OCAC:
OCAC will cover participants’ courses, meals (excluding dinner on September 11), group transportation, site visits, insurance, venue rental and accommodation expenses for the 4 nights during the event.
B.Expenses to be covered by participants:
1.Round-trip airfare between location of residence and Taiwan, and expenses of transportation to the registration location and transportation between the event venue and the airport upon conclusion of the workshop.
2.The program provides double-occupancy rooms (two participants per room). Those requesting a single room must pay the price difference. Participants requiring early check-in or extended stay must inform OCAC in advance. Arrangements will be subject to hotel availability, and all additional costs must be covered by the participant.
3.OCAC will provide NT$2 million travel insurance or accident coverage, along with an additional 10% accident medical insurance during the event. If participants consider this coverage insufficient, they may arrange for additional insurance at their own expense. Any medical expenses incurred during the program period in Taiwan due to illness or infection, including related treatment costs, shall be fully borne by the participant.
VI.Certificate Issuance:
Participants who do not take leave (including absences) for more than one-fifth of the total course hours and have received prior approval from OCAC for any leave requests will be issued a Certificate of Completion at the end of the program.
VII.Important Notices
1.Accepted applicants must confirm their attendance with the designated event organizer according to OCAC’s instructions to officially secure their spot.
2.The workshop schedule is intensive. Participants are advised to assess their health and physical condition to ensure they can handle the demands of the activities without compromising their learning experience. To avoid wasting training resources, full participation throughout the workshop is required. Participants must not leave the workshop without prior approval from OCAC, except for special circumstances. Those who cannot participate for the entire duration should refrain from registering.
3.Only purchase airline tickets after receiving confirmation of acceptance. If participants exhibit symptoms of suspected notifiable diseases before check-in or during the event, please inform the Council or the host organization and refrain from attending to safeguard the health of fellow participants.
3.OCAC reserves the right to interpret and make decisions regarding any matters not explicitly covered above.

2026-2027 OCAC International Companions for Learning Program

This program connects overseas compatriot schools and Taiwanese-heritage teachers in mainstream schools with K-12 schools in Taiwan. Through class-to-class digital partnerships (via online platforms, email, or letters), students will engage in language and cultural exchanges to enrich learning and broaden their international horizons.
II. Timeline
September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027
III. Participants
Overseas: Registered compatriot schools; K-12 mainstream classes taught by Taiwanese teachers (Europe, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand).
Domestic: Public and private elementary, junior, and senior high schools in Taiwan.
IV. Key Points
1. Application & Matching
Interested overseas applicants must fill out the survey. To ensure successful class-to-class matching, at least 5 students are required per age group.
Matching is prioritized by age group. Results are final; no re-matching requests will be accepted.
Results will be notified via overseas missions. Paired schools will then contact each other directly to plan exchange details.
2. Reporting & Support
All participating schools must submit an interaction report at the end of each semester.
Overseas schools needing assistance may contact the Council through their supervising overseas missions.
3. Funding & Subsidies
Overseas Compatriot Schools: May apply for subsidies for events or equipment through their overseas missions, subject to Council budget approval.
Mainstream & Domestic Schools: Do not qualify for Council subsidies and must self-fund all program expenses.

1.Objectives:
To enhance the knowledge and understanding of Taiwan's development situation and to promote interaction between young people in Taiwan and participants from overseas so the latter become a new force in their overseas compatriot societies when they return home, to promote exchange and contacts between Taiwan and their home countries.
2.Activity period: December 7-27 2026.
3.Eligibility:
(1)Young people aged 16 to under 25 (as shown on passport), age calculated to the start date of the session enrolled for, currently residing outside of Taiwan, currently residing in the Southern Hemisphere and Asia (except for countries with specialized sessions, such as the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia). In good academic standing and health, holding an I-Compatriot Card, holding a passport of country of residence or Overseas Compatriot Identity Endorsement, adaptable to group life during the study program, are willing to share images and videos on their own social media during the study program and of Chinese/Taiwanese descent are eligible to apply.
(2)Non overseas compatriot or foreign students of Taiwan Centers for Mandarin Learning (TCML) and overseas mainstream school.
1.)TCML can recommend any ethnicity under the age of 25 (recommendation letter from a teacher must be submitted when registering).
2.)Taiwanese Mandarin teachers in mainstream schools in Europe can recommend two young people of any ethnicity who meet the age requirement for participation (recommendation letter from a teacher must be submitted when registering).
4.Registration time limit: From March 1 until July 1 2026 or all places are taken.
5.Fees:
(1)Paid by the participant:
i.)Self-paid fee: NT$32,613/person, to be paid to the undertaking unit on registration. No refund for early withdrawal.
ii.)Personal return air ticket, visa fee, luggage transportation fee, spending money and personal expenditure.
iii.)Fee for medical insurance taken out in country of residence.
iv.)Personal medical fees, compensation for damage caused through personal factor (parents bear joint responsibility) during the activity.
v.)Accommodation and other expenses arising from early arrival in or delayed departure from Taiwan.
(2)Fees subsidized by the OCAC: NT$21,742/person, including teaching,teaching material, visits, food and accommodation, transportation,administration and other expenses.
6.Important Notices:
(1) During the program, the participants must abide by all rules and regulations and comply with group disciplinary rules. Serious violations can result in expulsion by the OCAC, to which student and parents should not object to, nor should return of expenses for joining this program that have already been paid be demanded.
(2)The participants must arrange for medical insurance in their country of residence prior to arrival. Should medical treatment be necessary for the participant during the program for a sudden illness or recurrence of chronic symptoms, any related medical fees shall be paid by the participant(s); neither the participants nor their parents may make any claim for compensation to OCAC or the undertaking unit.
(3)Those with special medical conditions (such as heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, diabetes, mental illness, epilepsy, infectious disease, or pregnancy) that might affect normal participation should not enroll for the program. Otherwise, the participants will be solely responsible for any incidents arising from preexisting health conditions and there will be no connection to the organizer or undertaking unit.
(4)Those with a prior record of drug abuse, criminal activity, or bad behavior will not be allowed to enroll.
(5)The participants’ luggage should be simple and easy to carry and should not contain any banned articles or products made from protected animal species; please adhere to customs regulations.
(6) Each participant should arrive in Taiwan and depart on the stipulated date. All expenses for early arrival or late departure caused by seat or other factors shall be borne by the participants: transportation arrangements for delayed arrivals or early departures may be assisted by the organizing unit; however, all related costs shall be borne by the participant.
(7)After the activity ends and the participants should return to their place of residence, they cannot, for any reason, apply to remain to in Taiwan for further study or live as an overseas compatriot student or overseas student.
(8)The participants should take part in the activity in full and must not leave midway. In the event of special circumstances requiring early departure, the participant(s) parent should submit a request detailing the situation; this will be passed by an overseas office or culture center to the OCAC for review; after OCAC approval and notification of the undertaking unit, the procedure for early departure will be handled, upon completion of which the participant(s) can leave; otherwise, all consequences will be the responsibility of participant(s) and will have no connection to the OCAC or the undertaking unit.
(9) To ensure that opportunities to participate are distributed fairly, those who have never been to Taiwan to take part in this activity will be given enrollment priority.If two or more individuals from the same household apply at the same time, only one will be accepted in principle, and the others will be placed on the waiting list. However, this restriction does not apply to multiples (e.g., twins or triplets). The OCAC reserves the right to make the final decision on admission based on resource allocation, available spots, and the overall effectiveness of the program.
(10)The participants should bring suitable clothes, casual clothes, leather shoes and trainers to meet the needs of different occasions.
(11) OCAC reserves the right to decide whether to proceed or not depending on the registration status of the session and other factors;Please do not purchase flight tickets before receiving official confirmation of acceptance. If the program is canceled, the OCAC will not reimburse any expenses incurred, including flight tickets purchased in advance.

2026 Overseas Young Legal Professionals Delegation

The program aims to cultivate overseas Taiwanese communities and foster legal professional talents among overseas youth who support Taiwan. By inviting young professionals with legal backgrounds to visit Taiwan, the program seeks to enhance their understanding of current national policies and development, leveraging their professional influence in mainstream society to support and advocate for Taiwan.
2. Program Dates
November 2 (Monday) to November 6 (Friday), 2026 (5 days and 4 nights).
3. Number of Participants
A total of 36 participants; up to 4 additional participants may be added as necessary to meet operational needs, with invitations to be extended by the Overseas Community Affairs Council, Taiwan (OCAC).
4. Selection Method
Candidates shall be recommended by the overseas missions of Taiwan. Final admission will be granted by the OCAC following a merit-based selection process.
5. Eligibility
Applicants under the age of 45 (born after January 1, 1981) who are licensed to practice law in their country of residence and have served as prosecutors or judges, or who have worked as senior partners or attorneys at reputable international law firms; or individuals with legal backgrounds who have experience working in government agencies, legislative offices, chambers of commerce, NGOs, or similar institutions in their country of residence.
Priority will be given to second-generation overseas Taiwanese youth, those with public participation experience, or those with strong relationships within local mainstream society in the residing country.
6. Program Activities (Primarily English)
Topic Lectures : Experts, scholars, and government representatives will be invited to deliver lectures and engage in discussions. Topics may include “Taiwan’s Judicial and Human Rights Development” and “Technology Law and Intellectual Property Protection,” among others.
Thematic Discussions : Participants will engage in guided discussions on certain topics. Topics may include “Participation in International Organizations” and “Cross-border Legal Cooperation,” among others.
Institutional Visits : Participants will visit relevant government or private sector organizations, including forums with heads or specialists of organizations. These may include the Judicial Yuan, Citizen Judges Courts, the Legal Aid Foundation, and the Taipei Bar Association, among others.
Networking with Taiwanese Peers : Young Taiwanese professionals with relevant backgrounds will be invited to engage in dialogue and exchange with participants.
Cultural Visits : Participants will visit sites showcasing Taiwan’s distinctive features, industrial development, cultural heritage, and major infrastructure projects.
7. Hosting Arrangements
Expenses : The OCAC will cover meals, accommodation, tour visits, group transportation, and insurance during the activity (Travel Safety Insurance of NT$2.5 million plus 10% Accidental Medical Insurance per person). All other expenses, including round-trip transportation to the check-in location and from the activity end-point to the airport, to be borne by the participants.
Accommodation : Accommodation will be generally arranged in double rooms (two people per room). Single room accommodations, early check-in or late check-out are subject to advance request, with the additional cost to be borne by the participant.
Airfare Subsidy : Participants are responsible for booking their own round-trip tickets. The OCAC will provide a fixed-amount subsidy based on the "OCAC Guidelines for Airfare Subsidies." If the actual ticket price is lower than the subsidy limit, the actual amount spent will be reimbursed. One-way tickets will receive only 50% of the subsidy limit. Tickets redeemed via frequent flyer miles are not eligible for subsidy.
Subsidies will be issued during the stay in Taiwan upon submission of proof of purchase, ticket stubs/e-tickets, and a signed receipt.
8. Additional Notes
Travel Documents : Participants must obtain entry visas/permits for Taiwan in advance if needed. Please ensure passports are valid for at least six months from the date of travel.
Ticketing : Participants are advised to purchase airline tickets only after receiving official confirmation from the OCAC.

Program Summary and Admission Guidelines
I. Program Objectives
This program supports the government’s vision of advancing the Smart Robotics Industry Promotion Initiative. Its objectives are to help the overseas compatriot entrepreneurs stay abreast of the latest developments in Taiwan’s smart robotics industry and strengthen capabilities in technology and resource integration. The Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) invites overseas compatriot entrepreneurs currently engaged in, or interested in developing, smart robotics technologies and applications to return to Taiwan for this training program.
The program aims to foster exchanges and collaboration among related industries in Taiwan and abroad, strengthen connections between domestic and international resources in support of national policy goals, and enhance Taiwan’s global competitiveness in the smart robotics industry.
II. Program Schedule and Agenda
(1) The program will be held from August 17 (Monday) to August 21 (Friday), 2026.
(2)Tentative program: The 5-day, 4-night program will include professional courses, company visits, and attendance at the 2026 Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robot Show, among other activities. (The tentative agenda and content are subject to change. The finalized schedule will be provided upon admission.)
(The OCAC reserves the right to make adjustments based on actual implementation needs.)
III. Eligibility and Program Capacity
(1) Eligibility:
A. Applicants must be proficient in Mandarin communication and currently engaged in industries related to smart robotics, AI technology development, or AI applications, or have an interest in promoting industrial innovation and upgrading, with the ability to assist relevant Taiwanese industries in expanding into overseas markets.
B. Applicants must hold an i-Compatriot Card or agree to apply for one during the program.
C. Priority will be given to applicants who have not participated in OCAC’s economic and trade training programs (including training courses and workshops) or visiting delegations (including invitation and observation delegations) within the past two years. Registration is limited to only one person from each household or company. Family members, relatives, friends, or assistants are not permitted to accompany participants in this program.
(2) Program Capacity: The program plans to admit 30 participants. The program will not be conducted if fewer than 15 participants are admitted.

(1) Application Period: Applications will be accepted from now until 11:59 p.m. on June 15, 2026 (Taiwan Time). Late applications and waitlist requests will not be accepted.

Please be sure to complete the application process on the webpage prior to the deadline. The initial review of applications and recommendations will be conducted by OCAC’s overseas service offices, followed by a final review by OCAC. (For applicants residing in areas without OCAC overseas personnel, the review will be conducted directly by the OCAC.) Applicants will be notified of the review results by email starting in mid-July, and official notifications will also be sent to relevant overseas missions or Overseas Community Affairs Culture Centers for onward communication.

b. During the program, accommodation will be arranged on a double occupancy basis (two persons per room). Requests for early check-in, late check-out, or individual room bookings with additional costs should be submitted in advance. Such requests will be subject to hotel availability, and any associated expenses will be the responsibility of the participants.
c. OCAC will provide a travel insurance with coverage of NTD 2 million, along with an additional 10% coverage for accident medical expenses. If participants consider this coverage insufficient, they may arrange for additional insurance at their own discretion. Any medical expenses incurred during the program period in Taiwan due to illness or infection shall be fully borne by the participant.

(1)National situation and culture courses: national situation, economy, education, life in Taiwan and culture.
(2)Tours of government, economic, and cultural institutions: Visits to the Office of the President, museums, cultural parks and creative industry parks.
(3)Industry visits: Visits Trusted Industry Sectors, namely semiconductors, AI, military, security and surveillance, and next-generation communications.
(4)Visits to Taiwan's ecological environment, national parks, historical monuments, and distinctive scenic spots.
(5)Visit to university campuses and interaction with students.

Applicant registration information will be reviewed in two stages; in the first stage, initial review will be conducted by an ROC overseas unit (in places without OCAC staff, initial review will be conducted by the OCAC directly). Stage 2 reviewwill be a final review conducted by the OCAC, with reviews carried out in batches. Admission results will be formally sent to the respective overseas missions and overseas cultural and educational centers for notification to the applicants. Applicants may also check the results on the "OCAC Activity Registration System" after the application deadline.
(3)Entry visa: Applicants should submit all documents required and apply for their own Taiwan entry visa.

7.Registration :
(1)Registration time and place: Please see the instructions in the admission notification.
(2)At time of registration, the participant shall pay the self-paid amount due, hand over their passport, and receive their participant ID card, participant handbook, and dormitory room assignment.
(3)Fees:
1.)Paid by the participant:
i.)Self-paid fee: NT$21,465/person,to be paid to the undertaking unit on registration. No refund for early withdrawal.
ii.)Personal return air ticket, visa fee, luggage transportation fee, spending money and personal expenditure.
iii.)Fee for medical insurance taken out in country of residence.
iv.)Personal medical fees, compensation for damage caused through personal factor (parents bear joint responsibility) during the activity.
v.)Accommodation and other expenses arising from early arrival in or delayed departure from Taiwan.
2.)Fees subsidized by the OCAC: NT$14,310/person, including teaching,teaching material, visits, food and accommodation, transportation,administration and other expenses.
8.Important Notices:
(1) During the program, the participants must abide by all rules and regulations and comply with group disciplinary rules. Serious violations can result in expulsion by the OCAC, to which student and parents should not object to, nor should return of expenses for joining this program that have already been paid be demanded.
(2)The participants must arrange for medical insurance in their country of residence prior to arrival. Should medical treatment be necessary for the participant during the program for a sudden illness or recurrence of chronic symptoms, any related medical fees shall be paid by the participant(s); neither the participants nor their parents may make any claim for compensation to OCAC or the undertaking unit.
(3)Those with special medical conditions (such as heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, diabetes, mental illness, epilepsy, infectious disease, or pregnancy) that might affect normal participation should not enroll for the program. Otherwise, the participants will be solely responsible for any incidents arising from preexisting health conditions and there will be no connection to the organizer or undertaking unit.
(4)Those with a prior record of drug abuse, criminal activity, or bad behavior will not be allowed to enroll.
(5)The participants’ luggage should be simple and easy to carry and should not contain any banned articles or products made from protected animal species; please adhere to customs regulations.
(6) Each participant should arrive in Taiwan and depart on the stipulated date. All expenses for early arrival or late departure caused by seat or other factors shall be borne by the participants: transportation arrangements for delayed arrivals or early departures may be assisted by the organizing unit; however, all related costs shall be borne by the participant.
(7)After the activity ends and the participants should return to their place of residence, they cannot, for any reason, apply to remain to in Taiwan for further study or live as an overseas compatriot student or overseas student.
(8)The participants should take part in the activity in full and must not leave midway. In the event of special circumstances requiring early departure, the participant(s) parent should submit a request detailing the situation; this will be passed by an overseas office or culture center to the OCAC for review; after OCAC approval and notification of the undertaking unit, the procedure for early departure will be handled, upon completion of which the participant(s) can leave; otherwise, all consequences will be the responsibility of participant(s) and will have no connection to the OCAC or the undertaking unit.
(9) To ensure that opportunities to participate are distributed fairly, those who have never been to Taiwan to take part in this activity will be given enrollment priority.If two or more individuals from the same household apply at the same time, only one will be accepted in principle, and the others will be placed on the waiting list. However, this restriction does not apply to multiples (e.g., twins or triplets). The OCAC reserves the right to make the final decision on admission based on resource allocation, available spots, and the overall effectiveness of the program.
(10)The participants should bring suitable clothes, casual clothes, leather shoes and trainers to meet the needs of different occasions.
(11) OCAC reserves the right to decide whether to proceed or not depending on the registration status of the session and other factors;Please do not purchase flight tickets before receiving official confirmation of acceptance. If the program is canceled, the OCAC will not reimburse any expenses incurred, including flight tickets purchased in advance.

Taiwan's biotechnology industry development strategy centers on "smart technology" and "precision health for all ages." Leveraging Taiwan's strong ICT and semiconductor advantages, and combining biotechnology, AI, and medical services, the goal is to achieve high-value new drug development, innovative medical device development, and smart healthcare solutions by 2030, transforming Taiwan into a "major hub for biomedical R&D in the Asia-Pacific region" and making biotechnology Taiwan's next "national treasure." To strengthen the connection between global overseas compatriot businesses and the Taiwan biotechnology industry, introduce related new biotechnology product opportunities, enhance the competitiveness of overseas compatriot businesses, assist in the complementary connection of advantageous industries and resources at home and abroad, and help the Taiwan economy and Taiwan's advantageous technology products expand into international markets, this association invites overseas compatriot businesses interested in developing or currently operating biotechnology-related industries to return to Taiwan for visits and exchanges, creating a mutually beneficial and win-win situation.
II. Program Duration:
July 13 (Monday) to July 17 (Friday), 2026. Total 5 days and 4 nights.
III. Eligibility Requirements:
Overseas compatriot entrepreneurs with Mandarin communicative skills who are engaged in the biotechnology industry (or those with related experience) in their overseas location of residence and are willing to collaborate with or invest in related Taiwanese businesses and assist them in expanding into international markets. Priority will be given to those who have not participated in OCAC's economic and trade workshops or visiting delegations in the past two years. This program will not be held if there are fewer than 15 participants.
IV. Registration Information:
A. Registration Period: From now until 24:00 on May 22, 2026 (Taiwan Time). Late submissions will not be accepted or waitlisted.
B. Registration Method:
1. This program utilizes the “OCAC Overseas Compatriot Affairs Activity Registration System”. Please register via the program webpage prior to the registration deadline. (Registration site:https://register.ocac.gov.tw)
2. For all the personal data of the workshop’s participants, the OCAC shall handle its collection, processing, and utilization in accordance with regulations stipulated in Article 8 of the Personal Data Protection Act. Please read the notice items carefully and check the boxes to indicate your consent to proceed with the registration process.
3. In order to streamline application procedures, personal information will be automatically filled out when applicants apply with their i-Compatriot Card accounts (including information such as your Mandarin and English names, birthdates, gender, email, i-Compatriot Card Number and residing country); applicants who do not apply with their i-Compatriot Card accounts, please make sure to fill out the i-Compatriot Card Number accurately; applicants who are not registered with an i-Compatriot Card account, please check the box for “agree to register for an i-Compatriot Card, after which the OCAC will approve and issue your i-Compatriot Card according to the information of your application for this workshop).
4. When registering, please provide a frequently used email address capable of receiving messages, to ensure receipt of registration results and online check-in instructions.
5. Initial review of the overseas compatriot attendee application will be handled by the Culture Center or OCAC overseas offices and furthered reviewed by the OCAC. OCAC will send registration results to the applicants via email.

VI. Program Fees::
A. Expenses Covered by OCAC:
Program attendees’ lunches and dinners, accommodations, group transportation, visitations, insurance, and venue expenses for the duration of the program.
B. Expenses to be covered by the program attendees
1. Round-trip airfare and other transportation fees between location of residence and Taiwan, transportation to and from the registration site, as well as other personal expenses.
2. During the program, double occupancy rooms will be arranged. If any participant requires a single occupancy room, he or she will need to cover the difference; if any participant need to check in early or check out late, he or she should mention it in advance, and room will be arranged depend on the accommodation situation of the hotel. The relevant expenses will be borne by the participant.
3. During the program, attendees will be covered by a NT$2,000,000 travel safety or accident insurance, with an additional 10% accident medical coverage. If attendees consider this coverage insufficient, they may choose to increase the coverage limit at their own discretion. If the attendee contracts any disease, falls ill, and requires medical treatment while in Taiwan, he or she is responsible for all related medical expenses.
VII. Important:
A. Registration is limited to only 1 person from each household or company; to retain the integrity of this program, companions (including family members and assistants) are not permitted.
B. Applicants will obtain program eligibility only after completing the confirmation of check-in procedures with the organizer.
C. The schedule of this program is intensive. Attendees are advised to consider their own health and physical condition to avoid overexertion during the program, which could impact the flow of activities. To avoid wasting resources, full participation throughout the program is required. Unless with special reasons approved by the OCAC, attendees should not leave the program without authorization. Those who cannot participate for the entire duration should refrain from participating.
D. Applicants are advised to refrain from purchasing air travel tickets until they have received official confirmation of acceptance. If the attendee have any symptoms of discomfort before check-in or during the program, please inform the OCAC or staff members immediately and cease participation in the program.
